Springtime In The Country

After two years of no craft show events, due mainly to CoVid, I am pleased to say that we have a booth at the Springtime in the Country craft show. WNY Premier Promotions have organized this show to be held outdoors at the Hamburg Fairgrounds. We are in Zone 4, Booth 4; so if you are looking for a gift for someone special this a good time to begin this unofficial start of summer. Check the website for hours:

Beachcombing Magazine Article

between a rock and a hard place.jpg

The September/October article of the Beachcombing Magazine will contain an article written by me titled, “Between a Rock and a Hard Place”. It discusses points of interest regarding the glacial effect on the Great Lakes during the last Ice Age. In addition it will cover our methodology and strategy of collecting glacial rocks for the rock decor items crafted by us. This magazine has traditionally concentrated on beach glass found from all over the world as well as other items of interest found on the shores of this planet. Glacial Impressions has given beach combing another twist with an appreciation for the varieties of rocks that can be found on our watery shores. This issue will be distributed in mid-August, so if you obtain a subscription by July 24th you should be able to take advantage of the opportunity to learn about glacial rocks. With their permission I hope to post the article on this website once issued.
